Collagen
Stimulation.
Sculptra & Radiesse — restoring the architecture of the skin, not just the surface.
Collagen is what gives skin its firmness, structure, and glow — and by our mid-twenties, we start losing about 1% of it every year. Sculptra and Radiesse work with your body to rebuild what time has taken, gradually and naturally, from the foundation up.
The Foundation
What is collagen stimulation?
Collagen is the protein that gives skin its structure, firmness, and elasticity. Starting in our mid-twenties, the body produces less of it each year — leading to volume loss, thinning skin, and wrinkles.
Collagen stimulators are injectable treatments that prompt the body to rebuild its own collagen, restoring volume and improving skin quality gradually and naturally. Unlike traditional hyaluronic acid fillers, the goal is to strengthen the skin's foundation, not simply fill a line.
The Comparison
Sculptra vs. Radiesse.
Two clinically distinct biostimulators — chosen based on your anatomy, timeline, and goals. Your consultation defines the plan.

Calcium hydroxylapatite
Radiesse

The Signature
Neck
rejuvenation.
Collagen stimulation is one of the most effective ways to address the neck — softening horizontal lines, improving skin laxity, and rebuilding the firmness that time and posture wear down.
As new collagen builds, the skin becomes thicker, firmer, and smoother. Most clients complete a plan of 2–3 rounds, spaced every 6 weeks, with results developing gradually over the months following treatment.

The Experience
What to expect.
1 · Consultation
A full facial assessment. We review your goals, medical history, and design a treatment plan matched to your anatomy — Sculptra, Radiesse, hyperdilute, or a combination.
2 · Treatment
Injection takes 30–60 minutes. Numbing is applied where needed. Discomfort is generally mild and brief.
3 · Same-day return
Most clients return to normal activities the same day. Some swelling, mild bruising, redness, or tenderness is normal and resolves within days.
The Timeline
Your results, revealed.
Weeks 1–2
Initial swelling settles. Sculptra may temporarily appear "filled" from the water in the injection.
Weeks 4–6
Collagen production begins. Second session is typically scheduled here for Sculptra.
Months 2–3
Skin quality noticeably improves. Firmness, thickness, and glow become visible.
Months 3–6+
Full results reveal themselves — restored contour and firmer, healthier-looking skin.
The Ritual
Aftercare that matters.
The way you care for the skin in the days after treatment shapes how your body responds. For Sculptra, that means the classic "5-5-5" massage.
- 01Massage Sculptra-treated areas with the "5-5-5" method: 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days.
- 02Avoid strenuous exercise, heat, alcohol, and blood thinners for 24 hours.
- 03Skip facials, lasers, and micro-needling in the treated area for 2 weeks.
- 04Sleep on your back the first night when possible.
- 05Expect temporary swelling, bruising, redness, or tenderness — this typically resolves within days.
- 06Stay well-hydrated to support your body's collagen response.
Frequently Asked
Sculptra & Radiesse FAQ.
How is collagen stimulation different from filler?
Traditional hyaluronic acid fillers physically fill a line. Sculptra and Radiesse work differently — they prompt your body to rebuild its own collagen, strengthening the skin's foundation and restoring volume from within.
Which product is right for me — Sculptra or Radiesse?
It depends on your goals, anatomy, and timeline. Sculptra excels at gradual, whole-face restoration and long-term results. Radiesse offers some immediate lift plus collagen building, and hyperdilute Radiesse is exceptional for skin firmness. We choose during your consultation.
How many sessions will I need?
Sculptra is typically a series of 2–3 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Radiesse often takes 1–2 sessions to reach your goal. Neck rejuvenation usually requires 2–3 rounds every 6 weeks.
How long do the results last?
Sculptra results can last up to 2 years or more. Radiesse results typically last 12–18 months. Individual longevity varies by area, lifestyle, and metabolism.
Is there downtime?
Most clients return to normal activities the same day. Temporary swelling, mild bruising, redness, or tenderness at the injection sites is common and typically resolves within a few days.
Who is not a candidate?
These treatments are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if there is an active skin infection at the treatment site. Your provider will review your medical history at consultation.
Can I combine with other treatments?
Yes — collagen stimulation pairs beautifully with microneedling, laser skin resurfacing, and neuromodulators. We'll design a plan that stages treatments for optimal healing and results.
